What is the maximum distance this transceiver supports?
The UACC-OM-SFP28-SR supports up to 300m over OM3 multi-mode fiber and 400m+ on OM4 fiber at 850nm wavelength.
Is this compatible with non-Ubiquiti equipment?
Yes, as a standard SFP28 transceiver with LC connectors, it works with any equipment having SFP28 slots, including third-party switches and routers.
What type of fiber is required?
This module requires multi-mode fiber (OM3 or OM4). Single-mode fiber will not function with this 850nm module.
Can this be used for long-distance connections?
