What is per-outlet metering and why does it matter?

Per-outlet metering measures power consumption on each individual outlet, allowing you to track power usage by device, prevent overloads, and optimize datacenter efficiency without manual monitoring.

Is this PDU compatible with existing rack infrastructure?

Yes, the EJB36015 is designed for standard 19-inch rack mounting and fits within standard 1U rack space. It connects via NEMA L21-30P input and standard NEMA 5-15/20R outlets.

Can I monitor this PDU remotely?

Yes, the metered PDU supports SNMP and IPMI protocols for integration with datacenter management platforms, enabling remote power monitoring and control from a central management console.

How many outlets does this unit provide?

The EJB36015 provides 12 NEMA 5-15/20R outlets spaced at 1.5 inches apart, accommodating standard power cords with minimal cable congestion.

What is the input power rating?

The unit accepts 208V single-phase input at 30A maximum, providing 6.24 kVA total capacity distributed across the 12 monitored outlets.

Does it include surge protection?

The EJB36015 is a basic metered PDU without integrated surge protection. Consider pairing with external surge suppression for sensitive equipment protection.

What mounting options are available?

The PDU is optimized for 19-inch rack mounting in a 1U form factor and can be installed on vertical or horizontal rails within standard datacenter racks.

Is power management or scheduling available?

The EJB36015 provides monitoring and basic outlet visibility. Advanced power scheduling may require integration with Schneider Electric's management software or third-party datacenter management tools.
